Hello and welcome to my website.

My name is Karin Mathews. I am an experienced qualified counsellor in private practice in East Sheen, Richmond, South West London.

I have a dedicated consulting room based in my home and aim to provide a safe, confidential, quiet and comfortable environment for my clients. I would aim to see to you within one week of making an enquiry (subject to finding a mutually convenient time).
I work with individuals over the age of 18 and have experience of working with a wide range of issues, some of which are listed below:

Where am I?
I can easily be reached by public transport (train and bus). Mortlake Station is 10 minutes away on foot plus and the Upper Richmond Road is about 5 minutes walk. Free parking is also available in the surrounding roads.

Fees
We will begin with an Initial Consultation. This will help me to focus on the nature of our future work together. It will also be an opportunity for you to decide on whether you wish to commit to future counselling.
Each session lasts for 1 hour and I operate a sliding fee scale, negotiated with the individual. Concessions are available for unemployed/low wage earners/
students/over 60's.
